Day 1 Arrive Delhi - Haridwar
On the starting day of your tour, we will receive you in the morning from the Delhi hotel/ airport and your drive continue towards the holy city of Haridwar. This total journey takes around 5 hours to cover the distance of 230 km. Upon reaching get refreshment at your hotel. Start your afternoon tour by visiting the Mansa Devi temple which is located on the top of a hill and you will choose an option to climb up by yourself or to take a cable car ride. This is the holy shrine of Goddess Mansa which means wishful Goddess. Afterwards visit the Maya Devi temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Sapta Rishi temple etc. In the evening you will enjoy the evening prayer ceremony at Har Ki Pauri the “Step to the god”. Here thousands of oil lamps floating in the river Ganges and the sound of bells and chanting of mantras will be a showcase of Indian culture. After the dinner come back to your hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 2: Haridwar – Rishikesh
In the morning enjoy your breakfast and head towards the yoga city of Rishikesh. This is just half an hour away from Haridwar. Upon reaching Rishikesh you will explore the beautiful ashrams and temples of this divine land. First of all, visit the top attraction Lakshman Jhula which is an iron suspension bridge that connects both sides of Rishikesh City. Here you will find so many locals who will also ride their two-wheeler vehicles on the same bridge. Also visit the thirteen-step temple, Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram, Gita Bhawan or Geeta Press which is world famous for its religious books. Here a unique restaurant “Chotiwala” is ready for your sumptuous lunch. Must visit the famous ashram Parmarth Niketan. At the end of you will be driven to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, our driver will drop you at the Airport or hotel in Delhi.
