If you are fan of the tigers then this itinerary will jump at you. Trails, dense green forests, smell of the fresh earthy soil, patchy roads, distant sounds of animals and birds make the Indian wildlife parks of Tadoba, Pench, Bandhavgarh and Kanha. It’s definitely the opportunity to meet the Royal Bengal tiger face to face. Spend time sightseeing in Mumbai, fly to Nagpur for a spectacular tiger and amazing wildlife safari. All the four parks are celebrated for their natural beauty and the staggering variety of their flora and fauna. Also visit the sensual temples of Khajuraho & cruise on holy river Ganges in Varanasi before ending the tour in Delhi.

Day 1 Arrive Mumbai

On arrival at Mumbai airport assistance and transfer to hotel. Later guided city tour of Mumbai one of the world’s great cities. Bollywood, beach, finance and a great nightlife are the highlights of Mumbai. Exquisite food joints, malls and buildings also define its character.

Visit Gateway of India built to commemorate the visit of King George V in 1911 and the excellent Prince of Wales Museum. From here stroll through the historic Colaba district to admire the impressive Gothic Victorian architecture before continuing to Malabar Hill for far-reaching views over the city. End the day at the colourful Dhobi ghats where traditional laundryman collect, wash and return the city’s linen.

Day 2 Mumbai - Nagpur - Tadoba Andhari(100kms/ 2hrs approx)

Breakfast at hotel transfer to airport to board flight for Nagpur. On arrival meet your driver and proceed to Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve for a two-night stay.

We are at the largest national park in Maharastra, the reserve covers a vast area and is a mix of dense sal and mango forest interspersed with stretches of bamboo thicket. Set in the Moharli Hills, there are also many wetland areas and Tadoba Lake lies at the heart of the reserve.

Day 3 Tadoba Andhari​ National Park

Breakfast at resort. Your pursuits of meeting tiger and other cats are getting real. Morning and evening jeep safaris. Less visited than many of its more famous neighbours, Tadoba is nonetheless bursting with life and home to several endangered species including tiger, panther, leopard and jackal as well as chital, antelope, nilgai and sloth bear. The wetland areas encourage a large crocodile population and over 195 species of bird and 74 species of butterfly have also been recorded.

Day 4 Tadoba Andhari​ National Park​ - Pench National Park​​ (210kms/ 4hrs approx)

Breakfast at resort. Morning jeep safari in TadobaTiger Reserve. After lunch drive to Pench Tiger Reserve. Pench inhabits a beautiful habitat of teak forest, meandering rivers and open grassland in an area of undulating terrain at the foot of the Satpura Range.

Day 5 Pench National Park​​

Breakfast at resort. At Pench there is an extraordinary variety of vegetation and wildlife, explore the reserve with a knowledgeable naturalist. Aside from the tiger, the park is also home to the leopard, jackal and the Indian wild dog. Chital, sambar and nilgai are commonly seen, as are gaur and the forest dwelling sloth bear. A delight for a bird watcher - there are over 250 different species to gaze at.

Day 6 Pench National Park - Kanha National Park (200kms/ 4hrs approx)

Breakfast at resort followed by morning jeep safari. After lunch drive to Kanha check in at resort. Bamboos, vast rolling grassland, fresh air, intense trees and never ending tales of the cats, lay the foundation of Kanha reserve.

Day 7 Kanha National Park

Breakfast at resort. Explore the park on the exciting morning and evening safaris and appreciate the beauty of Kanha National Park, set within a section of the Satpura Range. Kanha is home to tiger, bison, leopard, jackal, wild boar, sambar, Indian swamp deer and blackbuck as well as a rich variety of birdlife where over 230 different species have now been recorded.

Day 8 Kanha National Park - Bandhavgarh National Park (280kms/ 6hrs approx)

Breakfast at resort followed by morning jeep safari. After lunch drive to Bandhavgarh check in at resort. Meadows and grasslands, numerous small streams of water, Bandhavgarh is a beautiful reserve predominately full of Sal and mixed forest.

Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 9 Bandhavgarh National Park

Breakfast at resort. Explore the reserve in the company of an expert naturalist. Bandhavgarh has one of the highest densities of tiger, leopard, sloth bear, sambar, chital, barking deer, gaur and nilgai in India. The park is also home to rich and varied birdlife with hornbill, crested serpent eagle, partridge, variable hawk eagle and parakeet among the many different species it is possible to see.

Day 10 Bandhavgarh National Park​ - Khajuraho (230kms/ 5hrs approx)

Breakfast at resort, drive to Khajuraho check in at hotel. Khajuraho is breath taking and its temples are amongst the most popular in India. Over the course of the 11th and 12th centuries the Chandela dynasty created the most sublime examples of erotic sculpture in India. The temple of Khajuraho are India’s unique gift to the world, representing, as they do, a paean to life, to love, to joy, perfect in execution and sublime in expression on account of their remarkable erotic sculptures.

Day 11 Khajuraho - Varanasi (flight)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit exceptionally well maintained UNESCO World Heritage Site, spend the morning exploring the different temples and marvelling at their astonishing beauty. Later transfer to Khajuraho Airport for flight to Varanasi. On arrival assistance and transfer to hotel. Evening Ghats’s & temples visit, attend Holy Ganga Aarti. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 Varanasi

Early morning boat ride and Ghat visit along the Ganges and catch the scene of devotees bathing and praying in the sacred water.

Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Varanasi visit World famous Benaras Hindu Universit, The Ramnagar Fort Palace & many temples. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath one of the three holiest sites for Buddhists where the Buddha delivered his first sermon in 528 BC. There are many temples here, representing the many cultures where Buddhism is the dominant religious philosophy. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 Varanasi - Delhi (flight)

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival assistance and transfer to hotel.

Later city tour of Old Delhi with the guide to explore the area’s dense network of bustling alleyways, homes, bazaars and mosques visiting famous Chandni Chowk market. Nothing like you have ever seen before - beautifully chaotic. Visit the Jama Masjid, the Red Fort and Rajghat. In the afternoon continue to New Delhi, which was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is today home to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the Indian President, Rajpath and the imposing India Gate. Also visit Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 Delhi - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. As per your flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for your onward destination.
