Join us to discover the most feared prison in America on a guided tour that will fascinate you. Walk through the fort built more than 500 years ago. Enjoy the view from the San Pedro Tower, from where you will have the best pictures of the port. Learn about the legend of Chucho ‘El Roto’, the thief who stole to help the poor. Visit the cells where Chucho ‘El Roto “ and the ”Mulata de Córdoba’, two of the most famous legends of this place, were imprisoned.
At noon you will start your way to the fortress, where you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of some of the monuments of the historic centre and part of the customs facilities.
Upon arrival at San Juan de Ulua, an expert guide will be waiting for you to start the tour. During the tour inside the fortress, you will learn more about the history of the different areas of the fortress.
You will learn about the legends of ‘Chucho el Roto’, ‘La Mulata de Córdoba’ and much more. Likewise, the guide will tell you about the historical importance of San Juan de Ulua, from its construction in the time of the Conquest, through the Independence and Mexican Revolution, to the present day, a tour that you will definitely enjoy.
Approximately at 2:00 pm we will be finishing the tour with the guide, who will accompany you to the entrance door where our fellow operator will be waiting for you to take our unit back to Plaza Acuario, for this it is important to follow the instructions of the operator of the unit to comply in time and form with the itinerary.
