The Ría Celestún reserve is located on the west coast of the Yucatan peninsula and is one of the most species-rich wetland regions of Mexico. During the guided tour, you will meet some of the animals that live in the region, such as hummingbirds, anteaters and spider monkeys.

Next, you will take a boat ride through one of the Ría Celestún wetlands. From the boat you can admire the beautiful landscape surrounded by mangroves and observe the birds that live in the reserve: herons, cardinals, pink flamingos, pelicans.

You will go to one of the Celestún beaches to enjoy free time by the sea. Later, a lunch based on local specialties.

At the end of the tour through the Ría Celestún reserve, you will return to Mérida, where you will be met again at your hotel.
