We had a wonderful time with Lugo. We saw nearly 50 species of birds, shared some laughter and excitement with him and enjoyed our experience fully. This was our best day in Cancun and we would absolutely do it again. After birding we went to a small roadside place for Quesadillas. They were cooked by the daughter of the mother who owned the place and they were delicious. We had a chance to chat with mom a bit and felt like we got to know just a bit more about life in Cancun. So, not only did we get to see some great birds, but we got to experience a small slice of local culture as well. All in all a great experience and wonderful memories.
