Discover lots of beauties of Costa Rica in a single day on this Arenal Volcano Mega Combo Tour. You will be picked up in the morning from San Jose in an air conditioned vehicle, and then will go along the less-traveled scenic route to Arenal, with great views of volcanoes, plantations, waterfalls, jungles and local towns.
En route to Arenal, you will stop in a coffee plantation where you will receive a brief introduction into the world of Costa Rican coffee and you will enjoy a degustation of one of the best coffees in the world. Moving forward, you will get the chance to admire two natural wonders: the waterfalls called "La Paz" and "San Fernando". Have a look at the exotic tropical birds of Costa Rica, including many species of hummingbirds and rare emerald toucans, while you reach the San Fernando Waterfall observation point. Also, you will visit the "Iguana Bridge", where you will have the chance to see plenty of iguanas but also sloths, monkeys, toucans, etc.
Once in Arenal you will savor an authentic Costa Rican lunch in our favorite restaurant in town, and after lunch you will experience a Zip Lining Adventure that includes a total of 9 zip line cables immersed in a beautiful rainforest jungle, a 50 meters rappel (150 feet) right on the Arenal River, and a Maleku Indigenous Tribe Presentation done by real Maleku People, where you will learn a little bit about our native’s culture.
Continue this perfect day of adventure and sightseeing by relaxing for a couple of hours at the thermal mineral waters of Paradise Hot Springs and Gardens, where you will find small pools, jacuzzis and cascading waterfalls on larger lagoons, all surrounded by the most beautiful tropical gardens. After soaking in the hot springs, you will head back to your hotel in San Jose and will have a delicious dinner in a Costa Rican typical restaurant on route.
