Everest Base Camp Trek is the gateway to world's highest peak Mt. Everest. Everest Base Camp trek provides opportunity to the adventurers to see and explore the highest peak from the nearest and loveliest point. This place is surrounded by 4 high peaks Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Chou-oyu and Mt. Lhotse. Everest Base Camp is the perfect place to view the spectacular panoramic view of these mountains as close as they appear. Travelers can also pass through the Everest National Park that was established on July 1976 and later inscribed as a Natural World Heritage site in 1979.
The Everest Base Camp Trek route lies in the eastern part of Nepal and explores and passes through the southern side of Mt. Everest. Namche Bazar, a beautiful village which is also known as the capital of Sherpas. At the bottom side of the village travelers will be fascinated by the amazing airport Lukla airport where the pilots show their talents is also a beautiful place on the route of Everest Base Camp.

Begin the adventurous journey to Everest Base Camp early in the morning with a domestic terminal flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, also known as Khumbu. There will opportunities to see the chain of Himalayas on the 40-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Go on a short trek to Phakding.
See how the second day of the journey leads you to the Namche Bazaar, passing through several Sherpa villages filled with smiling people, their vibrant culture, landscape, and forests. The trails ascend through the forests and bridges until reaching the meeting point of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi. After about 2 hours of the steep climb, there will be the first sight of Mt. Everest. Continue to walk to Namche Bazaar - the land of Sherpas.
Relax and take a short hike to Everest View Hotel which takes almost 2 hours, or walk up to the top of Namche for a better view of Everest, Amadablam and adjoining peaks or even visit an interesting museum at Namche. Namche acclimatization day hike to Syangboche will take 3 hours and we start here since Namche is a perfect spot for acclimatization before heading to the higher area.
Embark on a 30 mins morning walk leading us to the ridge with an aerial view of Namche Bazaar, overlooking the beautiful towering peaks. The gradual winding scenic path makes for an easier walk as we head downhill to Imjatse river at Phunge-Tenga for lunch.
Continue the climb uphill through quaint woodlands of rhododendron, pines, firs trees with marvellous mountain views after a break.
Trek for a few hours, and we reach the beautiful spot of Tengboche known for its famous Buddhist monastery and magnificent panoramic views of several majestic Himalayan peaks.
Enjoy the morning views of Everest and magnificent Ama-Dablam and walk downhill for few hours to the bridge over Imjatse River.
Cross the bridge, and we will be walking in open country where the tree lines disappear for sparse vegetation and juniper bushes.
Continue on the gentle uphill climb for a while to reach Pangboche village at 3,900 meters which is the last permanent village before Dingboche and beyond.
Start a slow climb to Somara for lunch, and then continue to walk on the nice terrain for the last climb to Dingboche village which is our overnight stop. The place is located in the Imjatse valley with a picturesque panorama of snow-capped mountains including the North Face of Ama-Dablam.
Start the morning with an uphill walk for an hour commanding excellent views after the pleasant rest at Dingboche and then on the gentle track with slow up most of the way to Thugla.
Stop at Thugla for lunch where the Khumbu glacier ends in a raging river and meets the route from Pheriche.
Finish a fine break here and a steep uphill climb awaits for an hour to Thulga pass where there are memorials of climbers who died in mountaineering expeditions to Mt. Everest, Lhotse and other high mountains.
Embark on a nice pleasant walk bringing you to Lobuche for our overnight stop.
Begin trekking. The first section of the trail from Lobuche follows the narrow gap between the glacial moraine and the mountain walls. You can take your time to detour to the edge of the moraine to look over the Khumbu glacier. Along the windy and rocky path with the wonderful view of Mt. Pumori, Nuptse and other magnificent peaks, we reach Gorakshep. Gorakshep is the location of the original Everest Base Camp with the new camp being further up the valley.
Continue our adventure after lunch towards Everest Base Camp with the one-way distance being 3.5 km. The trail passes through over rocky dunes, and moraine and streams. The Base Camp area provides an opportunity to experience the freezing and harsh conditions that mountaineers have to bear to summit this famous mountain.
Reach the Everest Base Camp, where the climbers gather for summiting Everest during the high expedition season.
Explore the base camp and its surrounding glaciers and then return to Gorakshep.
Wake up. Mornings here are usually sparkling and clear, and this is the best time to climb the Kalapathar (one way distance of about 2 km) for one of the world's definitive mountain views. We will be rewarded with a 360-degree dramatic panorama view of Mt Everest and the surrounding mountains like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku along with many other peaks.
Have an easy walk for about 2 hrs to reach Lobuche and continue downhill to Pheriche.
Continue down the moraine to Dughla and the drop to the bridge over the gushing stream that flows out of the glacier.
Trek down through the hillside blanketed by rhododendron and juniper trees. It takes approximately four hours to Tengboche. This is a small village with a famous monastery that offers you splendid views of Mt. Amadablam, lush green hills and river views.
Trek down through the forested route of rhododendron and juniper trees after breakfast.
Cross the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River that is decorated with prayer flags.
Continue through the Dudh Koshi gorge climbing down rapidly through the forest of pines. Look out for the colorful pheasants and mountain goats.
Walk through a zigzag trail before reaching Namche Bazaar.
Enjoy an easy walk down to Lulka for the final night's stay in the Khumbu region. You can explore Lukla while you are here, which is a rapidly changing portion of the Himalayas.
Take a return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu where you can kick up your feet and relax at a hotel; taking time to reflect on the journey behind you.
Conclude our trip today as you pack your bags. A representative of Mount Glory will take you to the international airport.
