Trekking in western Mongolia is a truly unique experience, offering breathtaking views of some of the most remote and rugged landscapes on earth. The region is characterized by towering mountain ranges, deep valleys, and vast expanses of grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Trekking in western Mongolia is not for the faint of heart, as the region is rugged and remote, with few amenities or infrastructure. However, for those who are up for the challenge, the rewards are endless. You'll experience the unspoiled beauty of Mongolia's wild landscapes, encounter unique cultures and traditions, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 1. fly From UB to Ulgii. Drive to Ranger station of Altai tavan bogd Mountain. / B+L+D /

Day 2. trek to base camp having camels loaded by food and equipment it's about 17 kms from Ranger station it takes about 6-7 hrs walk. / B+L+D /

Day 3. early morning climb to Malchin peak/ 4050 metrs high / is located right on the border line between the Russia and Mongolia. / B+L+D /

Day 4. today will trek down to ranger station arrive at Ranger station overnight tents or ger. / B+L+D /

Day 5. trek to black valley having camels loaded by food and equipment arrive at Black valley cam by the river snow covered mountains overnight tents. / B+L+D /

Day 6. Today will continue trek to Bear valley pass to Takhilt pass also called it Dead pass which is one of the highest and steepest passes on our tour arrive at bear valley overnight in tents by the white river and snow mountains with trees.

Day 7. continue trek to aksu valley where connected to three rivers on our way we will heart lake and trees snow mountains valley arrive at Aksu valley/ B+L+D /

Day 8. today will drive to hoton hurgan nuur arrive at baga turgen valley. Arrive at Kazakh nomadic family having dinner with family traditional meal Five finger feast sing song with them overnight Kazakh ger. / B+L+D /

Day 9. we will hike to ih turgen valley to see the waterfall coming from glacier mountains on big rocks

Day 10. today we will drive back to Ulgii about 5-6 hours driving arrive at Ulgii attend to Kazakh wedding ceremony overnight our camp or hotel. / B+L+D /

Day 11. fly out of Ulgii to Ub.
