Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman hotel

Day 2: Amman – Amman City Tour – Jerash – Amman Hotel
After breakfast, start the Amman City Tour to enjoy a tour of the old city of Amman exploring the Citadel and the Roman Theater, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city. Then proceed to Jerash, the ancient city famous for its well-preserved Greco-Roman ruins. It is located about 50 kilometres north of the capital city, Amman, and is considered one of the best examples of Roman architecture outside of Italy. The site features an impressive collection of collonaded streets, temples, theatres, and other structures that date back to the 1st century AD. Visitors can explore the site on foot and learn about the city's rich history and culture, returning to the hotel in Amman overnight.
Day 3: Amman – Madaba – Mt. Nebo – Shobak – Petra hotel
After breakfast, transfer to Petra en-route visiting Madaba, Mount Nebo and Kerak (Kings Highway). The trip south from the Dead Sea takes us to the 5,000-year-old King's Highway, one of the most memorable journeys in the Holy Land, passing through a string of ancient sites. The first city you come upon is Madaba, "the City of Mosaics". Madaba's chief attraction, in the contemporary Greek Orthodox Church of St. Georg, is a wonderfully vivid, sixth-century Byzantine mosaic map showing Jerusalem and other holy sites. Ten minutes to the west is the most revered site in Jordan: Mount Nebo, the memorial of Moses, the presumed site of the prophet's death and burial place. A small, square church was built on the spot by early Byzantine Christians and later expanded into a vast complex. Later proceed further south to Shobak, to visit the castle of Shobak, then proceed to Petra for check-in and overnight.
Day 4: Petra – Petra Visit – Aqaba Hotel
After breakfast, visit Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This 10,000-year-old city is hidden in the desert and was once a Nabataean caravan city. Petra is a unique city, half-built and half-carved into the rock, and is surrounded by mountains that are riddled with passages and gorges. It is also one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, where ancient Eastern traditions blend with Hellenistic architecture.
