Overnight in Dead Sea
Day 2 Dead Sea - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Mukawir - Petra
Start your day at the Dead Sea and head to Madaba, where you’ll visit the famous mosaic map at St. George’s Church. Continue to Mt. Nebo, the site where Moses is believed to have viewed the Promised Land.
Drive to Mukawir (Machaerus), the hilltop stronghold of Herod the Great. Upon Herod's death, his son Herod Antipas inherited the fortress, and it is from here that he ordered John the Baptist to be beheaded after Salome's fateful dance of the seven veils. Enjoy the stunning panoramic views over the Jordan Valley before heading south to the ancient city of Petra. Stay overnight in Petra, ready to explore this world wonder the next day.
Day 3 Petra - Wadi Rum
Depart Petra for the magnificent desert of Wadi Rum. Free time in Wadi Rum Dinner and Overnight Wadi Rum
Day 4 Wadi Rum - Amman City Tour - Amman
After breakfast, drive to Amman for a full-day exploration of Jordan’s capital, Amman, a city where modernity blends seamlessly with ancient history. Start at the Citadel, perched on one of the city’s seven hills, where you’ll discover the Temple of Hercules and the Umayyad Palace, offering stunning views of the cityscape. Continue to the Roman Theater, a grand relic from the Roman era, still standing as a testament to the city’s ancient past. Enjoy a stroll through the vibrant downtown markets, where you can experience the hustle and bustle of local life, sampling traditional Jordanian street food and exploring local crafts. End your day with visits to Amman's modern districts, immersed in the rich culture and history of this fascinating city overnight in Amman
Day 5 Amman - Ajloun - Jerash - Amman
Start your day with a drive to Ajloun, where you will visit the remarkable Ajloun Castle, a 12th-century fortress that played a crucial role in defending the region during the Crusades. Enjoy panoramic views of the lush green hills of northern Jordan. From there, head to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Explore the colonnaded streets, the monumental temples of Artemis and Zeus, the theaters, and the vast oval forum. After a full day of exploring Jordan’s rich historical sites, return to Amman
Day 6 Amman - Departure from Queen Alia Airport
After breakfast, drive to Queen Alia Airport for departure.
