On this 7 day Eastern Himalaya tour visit Darjeeling, Pelling, Gangtok & Kalimpong. Marvel at the breathtaking view of sunrise at Tiger Hill, go for a ride on Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train) and visit Happy Valley Tea Estate. In addition, seek blessings at Enchey Monastery. It is a prominent hub for Buddhist culture and religion and a hotspot for shoppers, lovers, diners and fashionistas. Day 1 Bagdogra - Darjeeling (62kms/ 2hrs Approx)
On arrival at Bagdogra airport meet your driver and proceed to Darjeeling check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Darjeeling
Early Morning 4am pick up for visiting Tiger Hill for spectacular view of colour full sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PN. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway view point, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Happy Valley Tea Garden (outer view) and Lloyd botanical garden. Afternoon Toy Train Joyride. Evening free to explore the market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Darjeeling - Pelling (75kms/ 3hrs Approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Pelling check in at hotel. Later visit Pemayangtse Monastery & Rabdentse Ruin. Rest time to explore the sight of you interest. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Pelling - Gangtok (120kms/ 4hrs Approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Gangtok via NH 31A passing thru Temi, Taraku, Singtam, Rangpo, Ranipool. The journey is surrounded by lush green forests and tea gardens with eye catching picturesque view. On the way stop and have a sip of local Sikkimese tea. Arrive and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Gangtok
Breakfast at hotel then visit Rumtek Monastery, Insitute of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery & Hanuman Tok is a Hindu temple. Rest time to explore the sites of your interest and visiting the local market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Gangtok - Kalimpong (75kms/ 2hrs Approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Kalimpong check in at hotel. Later sightseeing visiting Durpin Monastery, Dr Graham's Homes, Sherpa View Point, Durga Mandir & Mangal Dham. Rest time to relax and visit the local market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Kalimpong - Bagdogra (75kms/ 2hrs Approx)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Bagdogra airport to board flight for onward destination.
