Hwange Day Trip from Victoria Falls allows guests to tour Hwange National Park, the biggest and oldest National Park in Zimbabwe, well known for its large amount of mammals and birds. Hwange day trip will take you through rural villages with traditional huts to view, rural hospitals, schools, churches and the Hwange Colliery which exports large amounts of coal across the world.
On arrival at Hwange National Park, an armed and experienced guide will take you for your morning game drive. You will visit several water holes that are in the park to catch the Animals during their drinking time. There are beautiful hides that have been strategically built and they afford one that magnificent view of the Animals and nature’s magnificent terrain. After the morning game drive, you will be taken to one of the lodges for lunch. As the sun’s heat cools down most animals heard for the water holes and in pursuit of the game we go on our second Game Drive.
- clients pick up in Victoria Falls at 6 am.
- The distance is approximately 190km to arrive at Hwange National Park which is approximately two hours drive.
- on arrival, clients are immediately transferred to a 4X4 off-road vehicle led by experienced guides and the tour commences.
- after the morning game drive, lunch is served at approximately 1300hrs.
- afternoon game drive starts immediately after lunch ending at approximately 1700hrs.
- as soon as gave drive ends, guests are transferred into another vehicle (transfer car) and back to Victoria Falls.
