4 Days 3 Nights Hwange Game Drive Staying At Khulu Bush Camp 4 days

  • Covid-19 Safe
  • Shared tour
  • Family friendly

Khulu Bush Camp is Hwange National Park’s quintessential luxury safari lodge. Inspired by the breath-taking splendour of its natural surrounds, Khulu Bush Camp reflects Africa’s timeless wonder and natural beauty, providing you with the ultimate and utterly unforgettable safari experience.

Khulu Bush Camp is a tribute to Cedric Wilde, one of the Directors of the Amalinda Safari Collection, who it is named after. Khulu is the community and staff’s affectionate name for Cedric and it means ‘grandfather’. If you are lucky enough to be in camp with Khulu himself your evenings will be spent around the fire, talking of days gone by and strumming to old country tunes. The beauty of this camp is that it combines luxurious and private accommodation with old world hospitality. Khulu overlooks an ancient riverbed, in today’s terms called a ‘vlei’, known to attract a variety of the greatest wildlife and bird life in Hwange National Park, right on your doorstep. The excellent accessibility does not take away from its unparalleled feeling of seclusion and remoteness in the true African wilderness. Wildlife game viewing activities include drives in open 4X4 safari vehicles, or guided walks accompanied by one of our Professional Guides, ensuring your safety and giving guests an exciting and educational view of the bush at grass roots level. Guests will get an exceptional game viewing experience in the African bush that is second to none.

Day 2-3 Game drives and other activities

A wonderful way to start the day on one’s veranda having a cup of tea watching it go from dark to light. A continental breakfast will served around the ‑re before it is time to leave on an activity. Our activities are very fluid and consist of a mix between game drives, walks and spending time at game watering holes. It could start as a drive from camp but rapidly change to a walk as some tracks of a herd of buffalo or the resident pride of lions is spotted. Being on foot with any of these animals is very exciting and a great experience. Whatever you see, your guide will be a fountain of information and make the outdoors come alive with his explanations and interpretations of the environment you are in.
