Rhino Game Drive - Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park 3 hours

07:00 AM – 07:30 AM:

Transfer from your lodge to the park

07:30 AM – 08:00 AM

• Arrival and Briefing: Arrive at the park’s entrance or your accommodation nearby. Your guide will give a briefing about the park, the rhino conservation efforts, and the animals you'll be encountering. Make sure to bring your camera, binoculars, and sun protection.

8:00 AM – 09:30 AM:

Morning Game Drive Begins:

• The game drive starts early to catch animals at their most active. Start by heading toward areas where the white rhinos are usually found. These areas are often near the Zambezi River or in the park's open grasslands.
• Your guide will stop periodically to explain the behaviour of the wildlife, including the rhinos. You may also spot other animals like giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species.

09:30 AM – 10:00 AM:

Rhino Spotting:

• Focus on locating and observing the white rhinos. These rhinos are part of a reintroduction program and can often be seen in their designated areas, roaming freely. Your guide will explain the conservation program, rhino behaviour, and the significance of their reintroduction to the park.
• Keep an eye out for birdlife, as the park is home to hundreds of bird species, some of which are often seen around the rhino habitats.

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM:

Morning Tea or Snack Break:

• A brief stop for refreshments. This is a great time to stretch your legs, enjoy the surroundings, and possibly spot more wildlife from the designated viewing area.

11:00 AM:

Return to the Entrance or Accommodation:

• After an enriching morning drive, you’ll return to the park’s entrance or your accommodation for a comfortable wrap-up.
