When Lake Mburo National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park are combined, it results in a satisfying African safari experience.

Lake Mburo National Park is located conveniently near the highway connecting Kampala to other national parks in Western and Southwestern Uganda, Lake Mburo is a close-packed gem. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including zebras. Enjoy a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Mburo, where you can get up close to crocodiles and hippos.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. Embark on game drives to spot African elephants, buffalos, antelopes, impalas, and various bird species. Take a memorable launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel, encountering hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife.

Day One

Morning drive to Lake Mburo National Park (3 hours). After lunch, embark on an afternoon boat cruise, followed by an early evening game drive.

Day Two

Early morning game drive. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (6 hours).

Day Three

Make sure to pack lunch for this early morning start. Attend briefing with the ranger guide and then embark on the Gorilla tracking activity.

Day Four

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and proceed to Mweya Peninsular via the Ishasha sector for a chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions (5-hour journey). Afternoon boat cruise on the beautiful Kazinga Channel, followed by an evening game drive.

Day Five

Morning game drive, breakfast and then another chance to see the game as you exit the Park heading back to Kampala (6-hour journey).
