This is an epic adventure where you will hike to Africa's tallest mountain and the world's largest free-standing mountain. You will be able to enjoy a short trip to Mount Kilimanjaro which is perfect for those who want to get the taste of Kilimanjaro but have limited time. Experience incredible scenery, breathtaking landscapes, and keep your eyes peeled for monkeys and native bird species. As it is said if you cannot cycle Kili you can just hike it. Come journey with us on this amazing tour.
You'll be picked up in the morning at your hotel in Moshi and taken to Kilimanjaro Gate. Once the necessary gate registration has been completed, trek begins and you'll soon be hiking through the dense Kilimanjaro rainforest. Alongside the impressive vegetation, you'll have the chance to catch a glimpse of black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and various bird species. Our guide will explain the different species of plants and animals you'll see.
You'll also meet mountain climbers descending from the top, and perhaps some of them will tell you of their experiences and you can start to dream about a climb of your own!
After 3 hours hike, you'll reach Mandara Hut, where you'll have a well-earned rest and lunch. Your guide will then take you on a short hike to the Maundi Crater, where you can enjoy wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania and Kenya.
You'll return to the Marangu Gate, where your vehicle will be waiting for your transfer back to your hotel or airport.
