A good surfaced road connects Mikumi to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro, a roughly 4 hour drive. 2 days for Mikumi National Park is more than enough opportunity to explore the wildlife.
The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffes buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include lions, leopardsand black-backed jackal. More than 400 species of birds
On this day you will be picked from the hotel/ airport in Dar-es-Salaam to start your transfer to Mikumi National Park in state of Morogoro. It's about 4 to 5 hours to Morogoro depends on traffic. Lunch at Morogoro town.
Morogoro town to Mikumi National Park is about 107km, straight to the hotel, since the road is passing between the park dividing it into two parts you will see some animals eating grasses such as Giraffe, Antelopes, Zebras, wildbeast, warthog etc.

Early in the morning you will leave for sunrise game drive before breakfast then will go to the restaurant for breakfast (within the Park/ Mikumi wildlife restaurant). Then continue with game drive until noon, 8 hours are more than enough for game watching in Mikumi National Park.
Check out then drive back to Dar-es-Salaam. Lunch on the way at best restaurant. After arrive to Dar-es-Salaam we will take you straight to your hotel. End of the trip.
