After a 45-minute drive from Moshi to Machame Gate, you begin your trek through the lush rainforest. The trail, often muddy and slippery, takes you up a ridge into the montane forest. You’ll reach Machame Camp at 3,050 meters, where you’ll settle in for the night.

After celebrating your achievement, descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters) for your final night on the mountain.
