Sahara Desert Tour From Tangier 5 days

Day 1 Tangier - Chefchaouen

To start our 5-Day Morocco Tour from tangier To Marrakech, your driver will pick-up you from your hotel/airport or port in Tangier and head towards the marvelous Blue city of Chefchaouen We will drive through the captivating views of the Rif Mountains on the way to the beautiful city of Tetouan and the charming little villages surrounding it.

Upon our arrival to Chefchaouen, we will visit the captivating Ras El Ma, a beautiful river where the water comes gushing out from within the mountain.

Next, you will have some free time to walk through the blue-painted streets of Medina, enjoying its calm, and relaxing atmosphere. The blue town has an authentic architecture style influenced by the old Jewish culture.

During your walk through the street of Chefchouen you will get to see captivating Moroccan handicrafts to choose from and shop for souvenirs.

Day 2 Chefchaouen - Meknès - Fez

On the second day of our Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we will leave the charming blue pearl towards Fes, driving through the fabulous views of the high Rif Mountains and passing by Meknes, the magnificent 17th century old capital.

On our journey to the imperial city, we will also pass by Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, the holiest town in Morocco, and then Volubilis, the ancient Roman Ruins.

The last stop for the day would be the city of Fes, the oldest in Morocco, another world of narrow streets and medieval Medinas. We will enjoy the night in a historical Moroccan Style Riad.

Day 3 Fez - Sahara Desert Tour

We will start our 3rd day full of greenery and nature views with a drive towards the spectacular Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first destination would be Immouzer, the lovely Berber village with the most beautiful views of green landscapes and flowing rivers.

After that, we will continue our way through the green Cedar Forests towards Ifrane, “The Moroccan Little Switzerland” where we will wander through its French-Style aesthetics, enjoying the cool weather and fascinating architecture.

Next on our journey, we will stop for a break in Azrou, to learn about the ancient Berber culture and the magnificent Cedar forest, have some clean air and play with the little tricky monkeys.

We will continue to Midlet, the Berber village of Rocks, where we will have a delicious traditional Berber Tagine for lunch, and learn more about the ancient Berber culture.

Last, we will continue towards Merzouga, the Golden Gate of the Sahara, where we will take our camels on a spectacular Trek admiring the magical sunset and the sensational tranquility of the majestic Sahara. Our camels would take us to our exotic Desert Camp in the Middle of the curving dunes, to gather around the campfire, enjoy a Berber Folklore show, and stare at the captivating starry night sky.

Day 4 Desert Tour - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Early in the morning of our 4th day, We will wake up to see and witness a magical sunrise over the golden sands of an endless Sahara.

After breakfast and a warm relaxing shower, we will leave Merzouga towards Rissani, the home founder of the Moroccan ruling dynasty. We will visit its colorful souks and ancient culture.

After that, we will head towards Todra Gorges where we will explore its remarkable orange cliffs and cliff-sided canyons making a perfect destination for climbers and adventure lovers and a perfect combination of Atlas Mountains and charming Desert. We would also get to visit its authentic mosques, colorful lanterns and famous textiles.

Later on, we will continue our Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech to Dades Valley, the little green paradise in the bare Sahara where we will have our local dinner, then spend the night in a little Guesthouse across the river.

Day 5 Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast of the last day of our Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we will leave the beautiful Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate, passing by Skoura, and its magnificent Kasbah of Amridil where we will be enjoying a delicious local lunch.

After that, we will explore the charming Ouarzazate, walking through its colorful old Souks and authentic ancient mud streets. We will also visit the magnificent International Film Studio, to see where some of Hollywood's famous movies and Series were made such as: Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Babel and The Jewel of the Nile amongst others.

We continue the last day of our Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, discovering ancient Royal Palaces and real authentic Moroccan architecture.

We will have lunch in a traditional Berber restaurant, a delicious combination of Moroccan flavors. Then drive through the winding roads of Tizi N Tichka Pass.

The last destination on the Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech, would be the majestic red city of Marrakech, where we will part ways and mark the end of our journey together.
