This tour takes you to the Mt Kenya region. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a private wildlife reserve famous for endangered species like the white rhino and chimpanzees.
Here, you will get to watch for wildlife in the morning and afternoon game drive through the park, enjoy front-row views of a watering hole at Safari Lodge, spot Big Five games, learn about chimpanzee rescue and rehabilitation then visit a replica of a traditional Kenya homestead to learn about local culture.
Depart at 06:00 from Nairobi and head north into the fertile central highlands. You will pass roadside stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables as well as some of Kenya's largest pineapple plantations and orchards.
Around 09:30 you will arrive at the entrance of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to view the big five and Kenya's usual plains animals.
There is also a chimpanzee sanctuary where these primates have been rescued from around the world and brought here to be rehabilitated.
You might also have the chance to visit a tame rhino and an informative conservation centre which has lots of interesting things of interest. For lunch, enjoy a picnic at the marshland which is a favorite haunt for elephant and water buck.
At around 15:30 hours will depart from Ol Pejeta, arriving in Nairobi around 19:00 hours.
