Explore the abundance of natural beauty at Samburu National Reserve during your bush trip to northern Kenya. The reserve offers the diversity of flora and fauna, both large and small, which you can discover in its vast striking and beautiful landscape. Distinct to other backcountry African safari destinations, the wild-arid expanses of Samburu are quite conducive to game drives.
Meru National Park features luxuriant jungle, coursing rivers, verdant swamp, khaki grasslands and gaunt termite cathedrals all under the sky's great blue bowl.
Day 1: Nairobi to Meru
You will be picked up at the airport/resident/hotel for a safari to Samburu with a short stopover at Meru for lunch. Proceed to Meru National Park for an afternoon game drive. Have dinner and overnight stay in your camp/lodge.
Day 2: Meru National Park
You will spend this day exploring the beautiful attractions, including the big game park, the varied bird species, and great rivers and streams. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Meru National Park to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, we will drive to Samburu National Reserve for a full-day game drive. See Buffalo Springs, and other awesome animals, and enjoy views of Ololokwe Mountain. Have dinner and overnight stay at your camp.
Day 4: Samburu National Reserve to Nairobi
Proceed to Samburu village for an extensive guide. Later on, we will have a lunch stopover at Nanyuki and then a short demonstration as we cross the equator to the Southern Hemisphere. Arrive at Nairobi early evening and then get dropped off at your resident hotel or the JKIA airport.
