Day 1 Mekelle - Erta Ale
Will start with a drive from Mekelle to the magnificent Erta Ale, one of the few continuously active volcanoes in the world. En route, you will have the opportunity to experience the stunning beauty of Lake Afrera before arriving at one of the most incredible natural wonders on earth. You'll be amazed by the incredible sights and sounds as we explore this unique and spectacular area.
Day 2 Erta Ale - Hamad Ela
Day 2 of our itinerary is an unforgettable experience, as we visit the incredible Erta Ale volcano during sunrise. Witness the volcanic activities and enjoy a delicious breakfast at our campsite. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Hamad Ela with lunch on the way, before arriving in Hamad Ila for a memorable evening. Finally, proceed to Salt Lake Assale, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset reflection.
Day 3 Hamad Ela - Dallol - Mekelle
On Day 3 of our itinerary, we'll take you to Dallol to witness the beautiful Danakil Depression. You'll visit the famous Dallol, known for its colorful geothermal fields and salt formations. We'll end the day in Mekelle, where you'll have the opportunity to experience the local culture and delicious cuisine.
