Your adventure begins in Cairo, where you'll marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, explore the Egyptian Museum, and wander through the vibrant Khan El-Khalili bazaar. From there, you'll fly to Aswan and board your Nile River cruise ship, where you'll sail through the heart of Egypt and visit temples, tombs, and other ancient sites along the way.
Highlights of the trip include visiting the High Dam and Philae Temple in Aswan, exploring the unique Temple of Kom Ombo and the Temple of Edfu, and discovering the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut.
Throughout your journey, you'll be accompanied by knowledgeable local guides who will share their insights into Egypt's fascinating history and culture.
One of our representatives will meet you at Cairo International Airport to help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Meet your guide outside the arrival terminal to begin your Egypt 6-day itinerary. Enjoy a guided tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Your Egyptologist tour guide will explain to you how and why the Ancient Egyptian kings built the Pyramids. He will tell you about the mystery behind the pyramids. Transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo
Early breakfast in the hotel before flying to Aswan to begin your 3-night Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor which is the most beautiful part of your 6-day Egypt tour package. Meet your guide just outside the arrival terminal at Aswan Airport to commence your tour. Your first stop will be at the High Dam, a dam built in the 1960s, to generate hydroelectricity and to stop floods. Then take a motorboat to explore the Temple of Philae, which was built primarily during the Ptolemaic period and is one of the most incredible Temples in Egypt. It was due to the construction of the two dams in Aswan that UNESCO had to relocate the temple. End your journey at the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.
Transfer to your Nile cruise ship.
Enjoy a free morning onboard your Nile cruise ship or join us on an optional tour of the phenomenal temples of Abu Simbel.
In the afternoon the ship sails down to Kom Ombo where you can visit the temple which the Egyptians dedicated it to two gods, Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. At the end of your tour, you will have a short visit to the Mummified Crocodile Museum then the ship will proceed down to Edfu, where it will dock. Overnight in Edfu.
After or before breakfast, you will be taken in a horse-drawn carriage to visit Edfu's Temple of Horus, which was built during the Greco-Roman era and is the most intact temple in Egypt. Afterward, the cruise will sail from Edfu via the Lock of Esna on its way to Luxor.
Once you reach Luxor, you will have the chance to see the largest temple in Egypt, the Temple of Karnak, built by several pharaohs in ancient times, as well as the majestic Temple of Luxor, connected to Karnak by the ceremonial avenue of the Sphinx which was recently restored. These temples were dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, the Theban Triad. Overnight in Luxor.
You will be disembarking from the ship after breakfast in order to explore the western side of Luxor. In the first part of our tour, you'll have the chance to explore the magnificent tombs found in the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom buried their kings to keep them hidden from grave robbers. A total of 65 tombs can be found in the Valley of the Kings. Your guide will suggest the top three tombs that are open to the public that you should visit. Then, you will be driven to the Temple of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who served as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years after convincing the people that she was a man. You will then visit the Colossi of Memnon which lies in the Temple of Amenhotep III. After this, you will transfer to Luxor Airport in order to catch our flight back to Cairo.

Explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt's past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
This is the end of your 6-day Egypt itinerary (Cairo & Nile cruise), then you will be transferred to Cairo airport in preparation for your final departure.
