Annapurna Poonhill Trek is a popular trekking destination with opulent diverse natural sceneries from paddy field to the alpine terrain along with the constant panoramic view of the World Highest Mountain Range i.e. Annapurna including Manaslu and Dhaulagiri.

We hike through sumptuous forest of romantic red colors of Rhododendron, lively villages and the ancient Trans-Himalayan Trade Route. The true travelers will taste the more diverse range of climate, vegetation and cultures than any place of the entire Himalayan world, from the lush verdant green vegetation of rain and temperate forest to the forest to the terraced rice fields and to the alpine zone making this trip more lively with an introduction to Nepal's cultural and natural beauty.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Nepal where our company representative receives you at the TIA airport and you are taken to the hotel by a private vehicle. Get a short briefing of the program for the following days.

Day 2 Kathmandu

Sightsee around Kathmandu city after breakfast at the hotel with government liscence holder tour guide.

Visit the UNESCO listed world heritage sites Pashupatinath (Hindu temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath.

Have the rest of the day to explore the city, and you stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 3 Kathmandu - Pokhara (1,400 m, 4,600 ft)

Report to the tourist bus parking at 6:30 am to leave for Pokhara at 7:00 am by tourist bus. Eat breakfast and lunch served to you on the way, and you reach the destination in 6 to 7 hours. See the landscape and the field along the way to Pokhara, while you also get to see the banks of Trisuli River and Marshyangdi River on the winding road to Pokhara. Can also try river rafting at the Trisuli River.

Day 4 Nayapool - Tikhedhunga (1577m)

Drive to Nayapool in a private vehicle for an hour post breakfast.

Reach Nayapool, and you start the three-hour trek to Tikhedhunga.

Spend the night at the local trekking lodge there.

Day 5 Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2855m)

Continue your trek after breakfast, crossing the suspension bridge after Tikhedhunga and then the Rhododendron forest to reach Ulleri and Banthanti after an hour.

Have lunch at Banthanti and continue on your trek towards Ghorepani to reach there in 6 to 7 hours.

Can see the Magar ethnic community at Ghorepani and you spend the night at the hotel with a great view of Mount Dhaulagiri.

Day 6 Poon Hill (3210m) - Tadapani (2630m)

Start your hike to Poon Hill early in the morning to see the sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayan ranges.

Descend to Ghorepani for breakfast and trek through the Rhododendron forest to Deurali Pass, Banthanti.

Have lunch at Banthanti before your descent.

Climb up to Tadapani for 30 minutes after crossing the stream to reach your destination for the night.

Spend the night at the local trekking lodge after a day of trekking.

Day 7 Tadapani - Ghandruk (1940m/6360ft)

Start the trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk early morning after breakfast.

Take a short rest upon reaching Bhaisikharka and then resume the trek.

Reach the destination, and you will experience the local/traditional Gurung culture, see a museum and enjoy Himalayan views amidst all the ethnic hospitality that can be found here.

Spend the night at a local trekking lodge.

Day 8 Ghandruk - Pokhara

Head to Pokhara on this day, and you start with the trek to the Annapurna Conservation Area checkpoint through fields of rice, millet, and corn.

Cross Khimche on the way and then exit from the Annapurna Conservation Area checkpoint to get started for Pokhara in a private vehicle. The drive will take about one hour.

Spend the night at a standard 2/3 star hotel at the lake-side in Pokhara.

Day 9 Pokhara - Kathmandu

Ride the bus for 6 to 7 hours to reach Kathmandu, where you can then rest at a hotel at Thamel, Kathmandu.

Have your farewell dinner at a Nepali cultural restaurant and spend the night at the 2/3 star accommodation.

Day 10 Final Departure

Set off for the Kathmandu TIA airport in a private vehicle.
