In Gili Islands motor vehicles are prohibited, but horsecart and bicycle.The beach as beautiful as other 2 Gilis (Gili Air & Gili Meno), Gili Trawangan has white sandy beach and blue and clear ocean which makes Gili Trawangan a the great place to spend your holiday time.
Many acitivities you can do in Gili Trawangan, such as walk around the island, or exploring the island by using cidomo or horse cart, snorkeling, diving, or you want another sensation from this island, you can try horse riding while enjoying the beauty of Gili Trawangan beach (optional).
Three perfect coral islands, fringed with white sands and swaying of palm trees, lay in the sparkling ocean just off the North-West coast of Lombok. For many years the Gili’s have attracted visitors from around the world for their pristine waters, great diving and snorkeling opportunities and laid back charm.
Our first visit is Gili Air, the closest island to Lombok. Gili Air is aptly named after the Indonesian word ‘air’ meaning water. It is the only Gili Island to have natural underground fresh water wells. After lunch we will continue for another exploration at Gili Meno. Meno is the real escape to paradise where you can fill your days with activities such as diving, snorkeling, surfing or just simply taking in the tranquil views.
Leave Gili Meno for Gili Trawangan, this Gili is the largest among the three islands. Gili Trawangan has extraordinarily beautiful beaches and shimmering ocean waters of crystal clear visibility for diving and snorkeling. Renting a bicycle is a great way to see the island.
