This tour covers many of the finest forts, palaces, gardens and cities built by the Mughals in Delhi and Agra and the Rajputs in Rajasthan. Delhi, Agra and Fatehpur Sikri are dominated with Mughals monuments while Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer have Rajputs build forts and palaces. Rajput maharajas served as imperial commanders and as regional governors, while at home, in the fortified cities of Rajasthan. They built some of India’s greatest temples, established a sophisticated court culture.
Day 1 Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi International Airport meet with our office executive assistance and transfer to hotel and check in. (Hotel check in / out time 12:00hr afternoon early check in subject to rooms availability).
Later city tour of Delhi, visiting landmark of Old Delhi which include Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni chowk & Khari Baoli Spice Market. Cycle Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk.
Sightseeing of New Delhi which includes Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb, Lotus Temple & VVIP areas President House, Parliament & India Gate. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Delhi - Agra (204kms/ 4hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Agra check in at hotel.
Afternoon city tour of Agra visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Abhaneri - Jaipur (245kms/ 5hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri the 16th century ghost town and Abhaneri a small village popular for the amazing step wells and Temple. Further drive to Jaipur check in at hotel.
Evening explore the pink city and visit the colorful bazaars. As per your interest wrap up your day by watching Bollywood movie at the opulent Rajmandir Cinema. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Jaipur
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the majestic Amber Fort and Jaigarh Fort. Enjoy Elephant ride at Amber Fort.
Later visit the city monuments including City Palace, Observatory, Palace of Winds, Albert Hall Museum and Birla Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 Jaipur - Udaipur (405kms/ 8hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Udaipur en route visit Pushkar Temples.
Continue drive to Udaipur, check in at hotel. Rest time to relax and personal activities. Evening watch folk performance “Dharohar” at Bagor ki Haveli. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 Udaipur
Breakfast at hotel full day city tour of Udaipur, visiting Fort, Palaces, Havelis, Gardens, Temples.
Evening boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Udaipur - Jodhpur (265kms/ 5hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Udaipur, en route visit either Ranakpur Jain Temple or Kumbhalgarh Fort as per your interest.
Continue drive to Jodhpur, check in at hotel. Rest time free to relax in the hotel or visit the place of your interest with your driver. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 Jodhpur
Breakfast at hotel full day city tour visiting the attraction like Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace visiting area & Museum.
Later excursion to visit Mandore temples, Chhatris & gardens. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (265kms/ 5hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Jaisalmer en route visit Pokhran Fort & Palaces.
Rest time free to relax in the hotel or visit the place of your interest with your driver. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Jaisalmer
Breakfast at hotel full day city tour visiting Fort, Palaces, Havelis and colorful market. Excursion visit to Kuldhara - A haunted village nearby.
Evening excursion to visit Sam Dune village, enjoy camel safari and barbeque dinner in the desert with live folklore performance. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Jaisalmer - Delhi (flight)
Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. From Delhi board connecting flight for onward destination.
In Delhi if required vehicle will be provided for interterminal transfer or for local use, going out for dinner etc.
